Community clinics and meetings
The Community Development staff organise city-wide meetings to enable ratepayers, Councillors and Council staff to discuss issues.
Clinics provide an opportunity for residents to meet two Councillors one-on-one. Residents can phone the Council to make an appointment or just turn up at the venue and wait their turn.
The community meetings are public meetings which are open to all and will involve a number of Councillors and Council staff. The meetings usually focus on a specific topic and then open up to discussion groups and questions.
