Bluff Reservoir and Pump Station
The Invercargill City Council’s Works and Services Directorate has given notice of a requirement to designate an area of land in the Invercargill City District Plan for “Water supply purposes”. This Notice of Requirement replaces an earlier Notice of Requirement that was notified in May 2009.
The Notice of Requirement proposes to designate a land area of approximately 9,739m2 at 3 – 107 Shannon Street, and 4 – 107 Shannon Street, Bluff. The site plan shows the extent of the proposed Designation. The Notice of Requirement proposes to designate the land for “water supply purposes” for the establishment of a new reservoir and pumpstation, and includes all elements associated with providing water including treatment, storage, pumping, conveyance, operations, construction and maintenance.

Making submissions
Any person may lodge a submission with the Invercargill City Council on this notice of requirement no later than 14 March 2011.
