Cemetery search

The website provides access to 54,073 records for the four Invercargill and Bluff cemeteries and the Southland Crematorium. The cemeteries and crematorium are operated by the Council's Parks Division. Latest updates: June 1, 2010.

To find burial details simply type in the person's surname and hit the search button. To refine the search you can specify cemetery and/or  gender; add the forenames to refine the search even further. The asterisk can be used as a "wildcard" to represent one or many characters in the surname and forename fields. Note that Burt Munro's given forenames were Herbert James (not Burt or Bert).

The cemetery search section of the website is under continuous development by the Council's Parks Division. Every attempt has been made to ensure the data is accurate but your help to supply updates or provide additional information will be appreciated. Please email cemeteries@icc.govt.nz
