Notice of Hearing
Invercargill District Plan - Plan Change 2 – Housing and Code of Practice
Pursuant to Schedule 1, Section 8B of the Resource Management Act 1991 (the Act), Invercargill City Council hereby gives notice that the Hearing for Plan Change 2 will be held on Wednesday 20 May, 2026.
The hearing will be held in the Council Chamber, at the Civic Theatre, 88 Tay Street Invercargill.

The Hearings Administrator will contact all submitters that expressed a wish to be heard in due course. Submitters may attend the hearing either in person or via video link.
Deadlines for the pre-circulation of evidence (See Minute 1):
- Section 42A Report due by 20 April 2026
- Submitters Expert Evidence due by 12pm 4 May 2026
- Legal Submissions due by 12pm 11 May 2026
