Amusement devices

An amusement device is a mechanically powered unit that is used for entertainment, e.g. merry-go-rounds, ferris wheels, go-karts and mini bikes, etc.

If you operate an amusement device you need to obtain a permit from the Council. It is the Council’s job to ensure that the site and the device are inspected for safety issues.
