Bainfield Rd and Retreat Rd speed limits changing to 50km/h

From Monday 1 December, the speed limits on Bainfield Road and Retreat Road will be changing from 60km/h to 50km/h.

Council resolved to change these speed limits on 23 September 2025 as a result of community feedback, and it was approved by New Zealand Transport Agency on 29 October 2025.
