The General Policies Reserve Management Plan 2023 was adopted at a Council Meeting held on 30 January 2024.

The Queens Park Management Plan 2011 was adopted at a Council Meeting held on 7 December 2010.
An amendment to the Development and Change section of the management plan was adopted at a Council Meeting held on 16 June 2015.
Sandy Point Domain Masterplan 2023
The Sandy Point Domain Masterplan sets out a long-term, strategic vision for one of Invercargill’s most popular recreation and leisure areas. It sets out a roadmap for the use, development, and future of the domain.
The Sandy Point Domain Masterplan was endorsed by Invercargill City Councillors at a Community Wellbeing Committee Meeting held on September 12, 2023.

Donovan Park Masterplan 2024
The Donovan Park Masterplan sets out a long-term, strategic vision for one of Invercargill’s recreation and leisure areas. It sets out a roadmap for the use, development, and future of the Reserve.
At the 12 November 2024 Community Wellbeing and Regulatory Committee Meeting, the Committee resolved to adopt the Donovan Park Masterplan following its completion of the consultation process.
Donovan Park Reserve Management Plan 2025
The Donovan Park Reserve Management Plan (RMP) provides a framework for how the unique aspects of the reserve will be managed.
This RMP for Donovan Park reflects the needs, values and aspirations of the community.
The Reserve Management Plan for Donovan Park was approved by the Invercargill City Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on 29 April 2025.
