Ways to pay your rates
Pay by direct debit
Paying by direct debit is the easiest way to manage your rates bill, and ensures you don't need to remember to pay before the due date.
You can choose the frequency of your payments to suit you: weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly.
How it works
After submitting direct debit authorisation form, you'll receive a letter confirming your bank account details, payment frequency, and start date. Your rates will be automatically debited out of your bank account. Any changes to your rates will automatically adjusted
You can request to change your method of payment or frequency of payment at any time.
Pay online with your credit/debit card
You can pay your rates using your credit or debit card via the ICC Online services portal.
Rate assessment number
Please take note of your rate assessment number on the left hand side of the invoice above the name and postal address and on the slip at the bottom of the invoice. The rate assessment number links your payment to the property.
Paying using internet banking
You can pay using phone or internet banking directly to our account.

What if I want to pay rates for multiple properties?
If you own multiple properties it is essential that you setup separate payments for each rated property using it's own particular LRA number.
What if I have sold or purchased a property in the last 12 months?
If you have sold or purchased a property in the last 12 months, ensure you have updated the relevant payment reference details (LRA number) in your internet banking. If this information is not updated, payments will continue to be credited to your old property rather than your new property.
