Sports facilities

Queens Park offers a range of fitness and sporting opportunities for individuals, and the park is home to a number of sports clubs.

Disc golf

This is an 18 basket (hole) course suitable for all ages and expertise. Discs can be hired from the Herbert Street Dairy or can be purchased at various stores in Invercargill.

There is a map of the course beside Tee 1 just inside the Herbert Street entrance.

Fitness track

A 3.4km fitness trail winding its way around the park will test the energetic and encourage others to have some fun. Twenty exercise stations are signposted with directions for appropriate use.

The Fitness Track starts and finishes at the car park off Queens Drive, near Southland Boys’ High School.
