Phone us on (03) 211 1777 and report your dog missing - we'll let you know if if it has been picked up by our Animal Control team.
Report a wandering dog
If you see a wandering dog please let us know.
You can report wandering dogs by phone (03) 211 1777, email customer.service@icc.govt.nz, or using the Antenno app.
What to do if your dog has been impounded
If your dog has been impounded, please contact the Animal Services team on (03) 211 1777 to arrange a time to have your dog released to you. Please be aware:
- Releasing of dogs is by appointment only.
- There is a fee involved in releasing your dog (refer to Animal services on the Fees and charges page).
- If your dog is unregistered then, by law, it must be registered before it can be released to you.
